Chocolate. Orange. Fudge. Brownies. Need I say anymore?

Chocolate and orange is definitely a favourite combination for me so I decided to create a recipe to include them both. My fudge recipe is super easy to make and can be whipped up in no time at all. This dessert is definitely one that can me made in advance, simply bake your brownies and layer on the fudge and leave to set in the fridge until you're ready to serve!

Hope you enjoy! :-)

Ingredients

Brownie Layer:
  • 1 x Boutique Bake Brownie Mix
  • 3 x Eggs
  • 150g of Butter
  • (If you'd like an extra zesty brownie, add in the zest of 1 orange to the brownie mix)

Fudge Layer:
  • 300g of Choc Chips / 1 Bar of Chocolate
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tin of Condensed Milk

Method

  1. Whip up a batch of my Boutique Bake Brownies as per pack instructions and leave to set and cool while you make the Zesty Orange Fudge topping.
  2. Pour the tin of condensed milk and chocolate chips into a non stick pan and stir through on a medium heat. This will start to heat quite quickly and will burn easily so make sure to keep mixing!
  3. Once the condensed milk and chocolate combination begin to thicken, remove from the heat.
  4. Zest an orange and add into the fudge, mix well.
  5.  When your brownie layer has completely cooled, spread an even layer of Orange Fudge over the brownies and leave to set for a minimum of 2- 3 hours.
  6. Once set, slice into 12 Squares and ENJOY!!
